I'm confused at bit by Firmware versions. The current version of the Firmware (package) is v1.2.0.16. I can't tell what package is installed on the Inspire. When I go to Settings/About I get a listing of the verious firware versions installed but can't tell which package of firmware versions is intalled.

How can I teel which package or overall version is installed?

Quick question guys  

I just ordered my Inspire 1.  I'm assuming that DJI will have updated the firmware to the latest version.  But don't want to take a chance.  Once I connect my controller to my Inspire 1.  Please confirm that all I will need to do to see the current version of the firmware is:

Launch the App
Go into Settings and about to see the current version of the firmware installed

I would appreciate the feedback.  Thanks

Just compare this screen with your device.

I think, not sure, that the new app does check via the internet (checks with DJI). That must be how the app can report Firmware is Current the system status window.

very confusing with the versions. Apparently from what I am seeing, what the controller/app shows as 1.15 = 1.02.00.16... Why not just be consistent DJI?

BTW I have Remote Controller 1.04

What you need to do to check if firmware is updated.

1: unzip firmware in the root folder
2: put it in your inspire 1
3: turn it on(maybe look in app for firmware update progress"it will not show anything if you are on the newest firmware)
4: then you need to turn your inspire off.
5: put the sd card back in your pc and open the .txt file to look at firmware progress log


Or look in app, either way is good :-)
