Interesting... the airport flying restrictions (at least in the iOS App, I think the Inspire1 firmware is what really regulates it) are smaller & less than in iOS Ap version 0.9.2

Got it on iPad Mini 3 and iPhone 6+!

How can you see that?

I found out because 0.9.2 first started by informing you that your DJI login ha expired. Then the user centre data is updated. This was followed by the beta app freezing and a a pop-up telling  you to update the software.  It's honestly scary how quickly digital software distribution and use can be controlled. Shades of what some have spoken of as the Internet of things to come!

Anyone been able to log into the "User center" on the new app?  I can't seem to get logged in via the app?  Although I can go to the DJI website and log in just fine.

That's not new firmware. Was hoping for firmware to address some of the other issues too.

I can login without any problem to the user account via the new app.

For some reason i can't see the version of the app in the "About" section under "Version" there is nothing.

I couldn't find the IOS app in the App Store from a search but by selecting another DJI app (ie ground station) and scroll down to developer apps, the DJI Pilot app shows for both phone and iPad.

I'm yet to setup and fly with it but it's definately there.

How can you see that?

I found it under User Center / Light Record / Select One and then you see on the bottom left a remote symbol, click on it and press play

I also see that the RED around airports is now showing the 1.5 mile radius (the NO fly zone), not the 5-mile radius "warning area". However why aren't JFK and LaGuardia on the list?

Forgive me, But what's all the fuss over the Apple running the same app?
Dose it fly better? Do you need too Jail break your pad? Dose everyone here dislike Android lol.

They are not identical (iOS version vs. Android version). There are differences. For example, the Android app does not have the Simulator.

However, 1 major difference is that the Apple device appears to have a better experience in terms of streaming (hardware-wise), which is why people wanted to use Apple devices instead, hence the fuss.

This is really great news! I found it using my iPad Air and it came up.  First search DJI and select Ground Station and then at the bottom is Developer Apps, click on that and it is in there :-)

Fly upon delayed arrival. So technically Android user's are been ripped off by not been able
Too access something they paid for when buying the Inspire1. I know I certainly can't afford another
Pad right now.

Funny that the Pilot app is under "Entertainment" category and not "Utility" as all other Dji apps. Probably due to the video over lightning.

As far as I know from reading the forums, they are working on it to bring the 2 versions as close as possible. So the Android version will have the Simulator too (supposedly). You are not getting ripped off. Don't forget a lot of iOS users couldn't even get the app until today. LOL

Fortunately I have not had any problems whatsoever with the .9 iOs; but, this is still great news.  Now hopefully we will get the support to go along with this app.  I have been using dual remotes with iPad Mini 2's ~ they are perfectly sized for these TX's.
