Sorry, but I'd do some more research and maybe someone has a different idea.

Depending which brand of sd card, the particular company may be able to help you recover your videos.
Go to the specified website and check to see if they offer any recovery options.
For my Nikon D800, I only use Lexar sd cards, as they offer Image Rescue 4.  If ever I run into any problems, I can rely on their technology to get my pictures back.
Perhaps some of the other memory card companies would offer similar programs. You would need to contact them for help and info.
That's why I don't use bargain basement cards from inferior companies and only buy brand name ones from reputable dealers, avoiding counterfeit copies.
You have learned a good lesson the hard way here, and now may want to just go back out and rerecord the videos that you lost.  Yes you can.
Good luck.  ;-)

Try RescuePRO, works for me every time. As long as you have not been recording anything new on the card after you accidently deleted the files.

If you have kept the backup of your videos that you have deleted from your SD  card on some other data storage devices such as Laptop or PC, then you can get back your deleted videos from the backup.

If you do not have any backup then the only option left with you is to take help of recovery software to restore deleted videos from SD card.

Never thought that would have a day with my most precious SD broken down and i had tried at least 10 others software without success recovering the data or request a purchase. Only Pandora  https://www.pandorarecovery.com/sd-recovery.html fully saved all corrupted files from it, highly recommanded

Just try some other software to scan your SD card. I know a software named RePicvid Free Photo Recovery, and it supports previewing deleted/lost video files before recovery. If it still fails to play, you could try VIdeo Repair Tool to fix the corrupted videos.

Hello, cartrucks! Since the deleted video files (such as _JI_0079.MOV) are very large (2.81GB), therefore, these video data must be divided into many small blocks. The bigger the video file, the more fragmented it is divided, the less likely it is to be restored. Therefore, you have to choose a very specialized data recovery tool (such as SoftHow Photo Recovery) to retrieve the lost video files. In addition, you can try video repair tools to fix the corrupted video files.

It is likely the recovered MOV file has been corrupted. Some recovery program allows preview after scan so that you know you can play the video normally after recovery. You could try more file recovery software.

Depending how a file is deleted and if used only quick format ... files usually have first letter of name changed to break link to FAT table. This is how most recovery software works ... it detects there is data ... pulls up the file name and lets you alter that first letter or identify it for reconstruction.

There is nothing rocket science about this ... its standard across most delete systems. A hangover from the early days of file allocation ...  Its only when you use FULL format or write data to a card - that recovery will be poor .. often that new file will overwrite part of the file you want to recover ... Full format of course destroys the files - it does not remove them - but makes them difficult to recover unless you have resources of FBI / MI6 etc. !!

Well, there’re numerous smartphone users who are going through the same situation of video deletion from their devices. But, let me tell you guys those deleted videos can be easily retrieved via the phone’s local backup. In the absence of a backup, you can go with the best Android Data Recovery Tool to recover deleted videos from phone SD cards.

There are various tools available that can easily recover deleted files from SD cards. You can try Recuva, Aryson, SysCurve, etc. I  would recommend SysCurve Software.
