Just took delivery of my Mavic Pro yesterday, and I immediatly noticed a small black ring/spot in the middle of the image.  
I can see it in both videos, and photos, as well as on the iphone when navigating.  
I tried cleaning the lense, but cannot seem to get rid of it.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I had a similar issue with my Mavic. But there were three small black spots visible in photos and one visible in videos. They looked like they may be spots on the sensor inside the camera. I reported the issue here and used online support (chat) and linked to examples. They suggested returned the drone to Apple Australia (the supplier) - which I did and they later sent me a replacement.

FYI- the lens cover was on during that flight, but the black dot appears with it off also

Same issue with one I got on Thursday.  Bkack splat near bottom of sensor. I can not see anything on lense of glass lense cover.  I will post up pic later

I am also having Black Dot on all my photos and in one point , same problem with my pictures and i received  my drone on the 25 dec 2016 , And camera is clean and i don't have anything on the camera.
it looks like some thing is wrong

Looks very similar to what I got. Had it for almost three weeks, only flown 5 minutes because of it. Started a thread earlier my thread about the same problem.

big dirt on the sensor? nothing to do only if u want to disassemble the camera or else send to dji I think

I had a same issue, and I did not have time to get repaired or replaced by DJI, since we are working in a project. So what we did that we open the mavic camera without opening the drone. i.e. removing the front cover of the camera by removing two screws (each on right and left side) and two small screws on the top cover panel. So removing four screws you can open the front part i.e. the camera sideways. but only thing you have to look is that do not damage the power/connector cable. Once it is removed from the gimbal detach the power connector cable by pulling the clip outward. Now you have the camera in your hand. The main reason of the black spot is the dust lying within the camera sensor from inside. To remove that dust now you have to bit the side of the camera using a metal bar or screw driver. This is for making the camera vibrate so that the dust fall off from the camera sensor. you need to repeat the task until the black spot totally removed from the camera. The only way to check the dust is moved or not you need to check by putting all the connection and re-screwing the camera back. If not totally off reopen it and vibrate again using metal road by bitting gently on the periphery of the camera. This worked successfully for me and hope it will work for you also.

I have a dark spot in my Mavic Pro too.  It is disturbing only in wintertime so I did not claim a replacement during warranty time.  Any idea if DJI could replace the camera after warranty or do I have to accept this is just bad chinese quality?  Here is some footage: https://www.facebook.com/aholato ... 5/10216546853358289

I wonder why CESTA needed to remove the camera from the gimbal - can't you just bang on the camera with a screwdriver while it is on the gimbal?  Have not dared to try that myself yet.

got a replacement in November and when I unboxed the drone I immediately noticed that the gimbal guard was off, when I did turn it on the video was blurred, it cleared up, but from time to time it comes back so I just decided to send it back,  I really don't like sending my MP back since I fly quite often, but better that way for peace of mind.

I am having this same issue currently, What should I do? I just got this drone yesterday...

You guys need to get a replacement asap.
