I have seen the roto pixel after market gimble but the price seems a bit high to me considering the components. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with the knock off cheap ones. I am familiar with a solder iron so I am more curious about performance.

mine arrived today... i watched many videos on the subject and after comparing a half dozen or so, i decided to spend the extra cash.  ive never seen a dissatisfied rotorpixel review but i have seen dissatisfied knock off reviews .  having said that, i also thought the price diff was dramatic enough to where budget being a higher priority for some could legitimately give an urge to go with knockoff.  fortunately, i am not on a budget for this one

The rotorpixel sounds like its the only alternative with a decent reputation. Still not convinced its worth $350+. I might take a gamble on the knock off.....

READ THIS.......   its all you need to remove the gimbal and still get all the benefits of telemetry etc....

The problem with the rotorpixel is you may as well have bought a plus by the time you spend that on a gimble. If anyone tries one of these cheapies please report back on it. Not having a 3 axis gimble is the only thing I don't like about the Vision. Hell, 2 axis would do!

Yes I agree. The only reason I want to upgrade my current setup is the camera on the new vision seems like it has a lot of issues with noise and low light shots.
