I know what you mean, the Tee copter, Y copter and the one with the yellow props is like that, no GPS but flying them FPV using Fat Sharks is easy as long as you keep moving forward.

1 time for old times sake, I'd like to see a pic with your whole fleet together. If that could ever happen. ;-)

To be honest - its often a hard choice what to put in the van for a days flying ... having so many. I have an 'itch' to build and with a 3D printer as well as Laser Cutter ... I have a definite build hobby.

That's some serious equipment some people have, ATM I just have an hubsan h501s, a phantom 3 Std and my phantom 4 pro.

For me - its the result of over 50years modelling ...... I have boats, cars, multi-rotors, helis, planes .....

I'm actually now building a 3 car garage with second floor model workshop ... and a half-height storage floor above that. Model area will be 12m x 7m and 2.8m high .... with a the third floor 12 x 7 x 1.5 ....

Serious hobby ! Basically need that much to clear out the second floor of the house !

The 40yr old Biplane ..... still flying ... now has a sister. Guy in UK knew I had one of these classics and he had one part built sitting in his workshop. Last visit to UK - I picked it up and its now ready to go with 90 4stroke engine up front ... waiting its maiden.

I had a fleet of airplane tails that I had kept for years to tell the tales. Finally had a bon fire and got rid of them. I self taught myself to fly and then flew hard fast and low.

I have a terrible habit of cutting it too fine too low !!

Smashed some very nice models due to wing tips catching when low and banked !! or pulling a loop about 1ft too low !!

Here's one of my flights in the 'Need for Speed' group that was on Wattflyer ..... one of my slower flights ...



This same model recorded a level flight speed of 222kph  .... which as far as I can tell still today is highest attained by the Parkjet in that group. I did hit an unofficial 235kph ... but didn't video !!

Crazy days !!

I also have EDF that hit 180kph and an EDF T45 converted to pusher prop that hits 200kph.
