What is the "upgrade range extender" in the DJI vison app settings. Should I do this> or use this?

Upgrade extender will just let you connect to wifi at the same time as you are connected to the Phantom.

I was thinking that upgrade the range extender was to get ability to be connected to the 4G or 3G network at the same time as the wifi network. May be I am wrong as I am quiet new to this.

Yes you are correct. You can only have 1 Wifi Connection active at any time.

It allows you to use the Cell Phone 3G / 4G cell data connection as well as the Wifi Phantom link.

Well it should give you the possibility to access maps in groundstation without having to cache them in front.

I have a phantom vision 2 here and the app was clicked upgrade Range Extender.
now he does not spend more image for smatphone ..
already I hung up and called, already rebooked bind .. but will not.
then it does not bind the smartphone finds it the phantom

Because that after I Bind on phantom vision 2 he no longer appears in wifi ..
I have to reset back to appear ..
however if not bindar does not transmit image ...
