I am travelling to the Dominican later this month. I am trying to find out if I will have any issues if I bring my Phantom with me? I avn't fond much online when searching this topic.

Have you checked drone laws within the Dominican Republic? You should be able to check the FAA and find sister links to the DR's aviation laws. As far as traveling is concerned, most have not had too many issues taking the drone with them, but you would want to check with your airline for their own regulations.

There are no problems to use

If you've not been to the DR, then you probably don't know that they aren't really all that concerned with... laws. If you're an American with money in your pocket, you'll be fine. Pay $10 to the Customs guy when you land, and you're golden.
