My Phantom 3 professional just refurbished by DJI seems unstable and has a high squeal above the regular bee sound.  Thoughts?

Is this with the propellers on or off? Could you happen to provide a small video to show the extent of the noise and vibration? Does it seems as though the motors spin freely (no friction)?

the blades are installed.  they seem to spin freely. it also does not hover well.  this is over solid ground and at less than 20'.

Can you post a video clip.
When you say it doesn't hover well, can you explain in detail?
Does it bobble up and down, or does it move from side to side?

It does all of that... side to side & up and down.  I don't have video

Do you notice any difference if you turn off the VPS? Have you tried performing an IMU calibration as well?
