What happens when the Mavic has a Failsafe (not Smart) Return to Home say as a result of the transmitter failing/switching off? The manual says it returns to the home point and hovers at 2m? What happends next? I would assume it would land but the manual says "landing after user confirms landing".  How can this be done if the transmitter has failed completely e.g. run out of battery?

I would assume it would land but this is not stated in the manual.  The manual says "landing - after user confirmed landing" -  How can this be done if the transmitter had failed completly? Anyone with practical experience help? Thanks.

If the home point is by you then the manual is assuming the rc probably regained connection, if not it will hover for a short time then auto land.

If you feel like testing it, go to an open field, fly it a little bit away, then shut the power to the controller off. Just make sure it recorded the home point first.

Might want to change your name too. The DJI employees all have a "DJIxxxxxxx" screen name. Helps identify who is staff and who is a user.
