So since my mavic was sent out yesterday and most likely will be using a replacement against my plan, anyone have a general idea on the turn around time from dji check in back to me.. I would hope a few days but just trying to get other peoples experience.

Wondering the same thing. I had to send mine in on Dec 11. Takes about a week to get there (Dec 19th). Also called DJI support and they told me they have shortage of Mavic Pros and I should just monitor the case. Hoping it doesn't take long since DJI Care refresh promises "Rapid Support" with "Prioritized Replacement"

To get my replacement it took about 3 days, they gave me a brand new drone.

I just sent mine back today! We're in this together, brothers and sisters! I'm leaving for vacation in 7 days. I'm starting to think I should update my replacements and have them ship it to my vacation destination just in case...

When using Care Refresh your aircraft is given priority.
You will have it back soon, normal turn around is about 2 weeks from when received in so yours should be less than that.

see my previous post.. lost control into a building and now having a camera sensor malfunction.. sucks but oh well what can you do, chalk it up as a learning experience.

Dji repair service is excellent, very efficient very easy to track, it's second to none, good luck.

yeah I should have done the same thing. Overnight it. Used the UPS Ground label from DJI instead. Dunno why I was thinking it's 2 day shipping label.

SO when I sent my Mavic in for repair, I forgot to take out the memory card and battery. There is actually no pictures or videos on the card but just curious, when DJI sends out a new craft, is memory card and battery included or is it just the body?

Mine went in for repair, i had DJI refresh but the cost to repairs was $90AUD so was cheaper then refresh. If i get it tomorrow it will be within 10 business days from shipping out to getting back. I'm sure if i used refresh it may have reduced a few days.

I sent mine in last Tuesday. And it finally arrived to their repair shop late this afternoon. Thats a long trip from the east coast to the west coast =/

Camera had broken off the gimbal, parts cost about $20 and the bulk was a $60 for labour. So if you break your camera from your gimbal the cost is not that high.

It depends, if they send you a new sealed box then there will be an SD card.
Just call 818-235-0789 in the morning or email reply to your ticket# and let them know about the SD card.

Amy idea if dji care refresh is available in new zealand? I was told no by a retailer....really good thing to have with for peace of mind

Currently it is not available, you can email djicare@dji.com to see if they have any idea if and when it would be available.

yup. same thing here. the whole gimbal assembly basically broke off even with the gimbal cover on. there has to be a way of securing that cover on so it doesn't just pop off with the slightest crash or bump.

Just received the invoice yesterday, $408 to repair or the $79 refresh replace. I used the replace. Hopefully going out today but we'll see.  So in total took about 2 days from the time they received it until I got the option to pay.

WOW!!! $408 to replace the camera? Wonder if there is any rhyme or reason to how they determine repair cost. fans628b7609 had a broken gimbal and they quoted him $80 (in his post above). Well let us know when you get it. Interested to know how long the total process was for you.
