I see where the smaller sensor in the X4S is mechanical, but is the 4/3 sensor in the X5S also mechanical?

The X5S only has an electronic shutter. It does not have a mechanical shutter option available.

Why the heck the most expensive X5S doesn't bring the Mechanical shutter (Electronic only, for the specs sheet) and the cheaper X4S does?!

The X5S is modeled of the X5/X5R, which was solely an electronic shutter as well.

Thank you for your reply, but that sounds BAD! Looks like X5S won't have the same benefits than the "mechanical shuttered" X4S....

That may be considered a minor trade off, but the X5S camera will still provide a better overall quality than the X4S with it's better sensor, transfer rate etc.

Maybe, but the fact of the mechanical shutter avoiding the "bending" effect (If it can be named so) onto objects as shown in DJI prop videos looks something very interesting to have...sepcially for videos...

Mechanical shutter is only for stills, doesnt do anything for video.
