hi i just bought a phantom 3 standard and have set everything up and i get to the point to start the drone and can not get it to start up not for sure what im doing wrong any help would be great

Your not going to get the help your asking without more detail. Not just "can not get it to start up".

new at this so be patient lol I got the uni calibration done GPS calibration done and I get a green light on my app that says ready to go and not ready to fly not to sure where to go from there everything shows normal on firmwear and all below that

Have you read the manual ?

Msnual start is both sticks down and towards each other .... left stick to 5 o'clock, right stick to 7 o'clock .... once started both sticks release. Left stick just up from bottom for idle.

But better way is yo use the Auto Start / takeoff via the App. BUT FIRST READ MANUAL AND KNOW HOW TO COMMAND TO LAND !

Download manual from DJI site. Please do yourself a big favour - read it !

Do you have sticks at mid position ? If you have left stick all way down then it will inhibit start up.

But please read the manual first so you know how to get her down again !

I would agree with solentlife that it sounds like you have the throttle stick stuck in the down position, which shuts off the motors. Just for reference, here's a playlist for tutorials on the Phantom 3 Standard:

Im new, have a p3 standard. But really want youtube live streaming. Can i download p3 advanced or pro firmware to my stardard without messing it up? Thanks

are you close to any airport ?  in tha case p3 doesn't start ,but should get a message

nearest airport is 7 miles north of where I live and I have read the manual and sticks are in the center position when it ran for a few seconds all the information states top of screen should say ready to fly but mine is green and says ready to go

Get yourself a screen recorder and record the screen of the DJI Go App, then post it here, maybe then we can see what is happening. BTW, are you doing this outside or inside?
