The panning did allow it to be fast but that was full stick left/right panning. Slowing the rotation down did make it smoother. Sorry, the video wasn't exactly a good demo.
The braking distance is perfect though. Make sure not to be flying towards something as it'll brake into it if not given enough room!
You can also adjust the settings while flying in cinematic mode. Gain as well as course angular velocity range can be adjusted under the main controller settings/advanced settings.
This mode is a little softer but it is pretty cold here and did not fly over about 8 min. The best way to get better shots is to slow down the gimbal and the control rates. Practice makes a difference too.
continuous auto focus works but most likely will not use this feature. I have focus set on my C2 button.
I'm using DJI Go 4 on Android and there is no option for cinematic mode. Only the modes that were always there. Anyone else experiencing this? Would love to try it. No auto focusing option either.

Same here. Sure would be helpful if they'd tell you that. Drives me crazy when I watch these instructional videos, and my menus don't look like theirs. I thought maybe I had an old version of DJI Go, so I reinstalled it, and no change.
