I bought a new inspire 1 pro last week, last night the x5 was locking into place no problem. Today when i tried to lock i in the level only goes half way.  I have made no adjustments to the locking mechanism, driving me mad now, been at it for hours. Any suggestions of tips would be greatly appreciated.

Don't force it! Make sure the back support engages first, then gently seat the front connector. If you are having problems, you may have already damaged some of the connector pins.

Like skyvideoct mentioned, you want to make sure to feel that the back pops into place first and then the front. It should lock completely after that.
