During 4K 60fps and 30 fps video recording the camera jerks and the videos are unusable.

I also used different sandisk ultra microsd cards and the jerking is still there:

The SD card is not the issue, but in any event for best performance you should be using the Sandisk Extreme or Extreme Pro series, the Ultra series is borderline slow. The effect I am seeing has nothing to do with the recording, it appears to be a glitch in editing, what did you use to edit the footage?

The Sandisk Ultra series have been found by other users to be just on the border of being fast venough. The DJI rating is confusing because what is important is not the manfacturers claimed rating, but the sustained write speed.

In any event, the card will not be causing the problem you are seeing, there is something else happening here. In your short clip, I saw the image skip back one or two frames, and that cannot happen in the camera. This is why I asked how you edited it.

I think that the problem isn't the camera but the bad impulse that create the jerk on the gimball

Just to chime in on MicroSD Cards:

A SanDisk ULTRA Class 10 Speed Class (U1) UHS-I will be bad to use with the P4PRO. It has a MINIMUM write speed of 10MB/s, but 100Mpbs on what the P4PRO is capable of = 100/8 = 12.5 MB/s.
So you would need a SanDisk Extreme Pro Class 10 Speed Class (U3) UHS-I. Which writes at a MINIMUM of 30 MB/s.

I know, but with the original 16gb microsd cards (in the packaging of p4pro) and Samsung pro+ microsd card the problem is the same. Isn't a lost or bad frame, it's a rapid jerk of the gimball.

Yes is a fast movement of the gimball, my p4pro have the same problem of your first (i remember). the engine of the gimball have a metallic noise, isn't a good copy

It seems to me to be a gimbal issue, as far as I can tell.  The camera jerks quickly and resets.

Any word from DJI on this?

Do you have check the jerk on p4pro+ after the first fly?

There is a thread on here where the OP reports a twitch in the gimbal when he takes a still shot, perhaps the same thing can happen at other times.

I took my P4P+ for its second flight today.  I did get at least one "jerk frame" in my tests.  It was fairly windy today, for what it's worth.  I haven't had as many of these instances as with my original P4P, but having this happen at all is frustrating.  Hopefully it's something that can be fixed.

Here is a link to an example -- this is the original file, straight out of the Sandisk 64GB Extreme Plus card.  The issue happens around 21 or 22 seconds in.  It looks to me like a gimbal issue, like it jerks and quickly resets.  But these are my first drones so I can't say for sure.  Please let me know if there is anything else that I can provide:  https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwVQH0uN5u-2MVFDd3BoWHFOdms

I have 3 examples for you that I have uploaded in smaller files.  These are original files, trimmed down in size per your request.  I have verified that the trimmed files show the exact same effect as the original files.

The first two examples are with my original P4P, at 60fps.  Both show the same issue where the frame seems to skip or something.

The third example is with my newest drone, the P4P+, which is the one I was hoping to keep (this one is 30fps).  This is a more severe gimbal twist type affect.

Please let me know what your team thinks after reviewing the files.

That does make sense for the P4P+ video I uploaded, because I was at the end of a move and I probably let the sticks go quickly.  So I can see that happening.

However, the other two from my original P4P happened mid movement with no quick stick movements.  They appear to me to be more like video frame errors as opposed to gimbal issues.  And I think they look more similar to the OP's original post as well.  I don't think I've seen that yet on my P4P+, which I think is the one I'm going to keep.  Hopefully it stays that way.
