So just got my P4P and finally managed to update firmware etc. and make it flyable.

But as I'm setting up the camera settings, I find that while you can shoot 120fps in 1920 x 1080 in NTSC mode, you can't shoot 100fps in 1920 x 1080 in Pal mode.

What gives? All I'm getting in Pal is a max of 50fps across the board.

Sure, I could shoot slow shots in NTSC, but since everything else is shot in Pal, I'd love not to have to deal with interpretation off footage etc.

Cheers

Fear not, the whole PAL or NTSC thing is immaterial these days, as it is a term that applies to Standard Definition television signals, and none of the Phantom cameras are capable of shooting in SD anyway, they are purely High Definition. Just choose either standard according to what you want, all your playback devices will handle the files anyway.

The material you have already shot in 'PAL' is not standard dependant anyway, but you will get a mixture of frame rates. It is best to avoid that, but decent editing programs can render the results out in a single frame rate anyway.
