I also ran into these issues with the aircraft not recognising the firmware file on SD card.
It was simply the wrong file (update for Inspire, not Inspire Pro). Two years in, after a dozen updates, missed this detail. Doh!

I did everything wrong time after time until I discovered same issue as you Pat

• The bin file for the Inspire 1 Pro / RAW is 75mb

• The bin file for regular Inspire 1 is 102mb
