I have installed the new GO 4 appWhen i open the app without connecting the aircraft I get the new UI, the moment i power on the P4, ui changes to the old looks and feel



The moment i connect my Phantom 4, the UI changes to the old style and stays that way from then on.

(not my screenshot, just got one from google to show the old UI)

I have uninstalled the app, cleaned up all the folders, even deleted any trace of the dji folders from the Android Tablet.

Tab: Android 6 on Samsung Tab s 8.4

Is there any logic that changes the UI based on the aircraft connected or the tab ui capabilities.

May i know you installed both the old version and DJI GO 4 on your android device or not?
Would you please check the "About" page through the APP, then post a clean screenshot about the page after you connect them properly?

initially i had both the versions, had the same issue

then i having both uninstalled both, full clean up of all existing folders that have DJI in them from the android device

and a fresh install of DJI Go 4, still same issue, all is well until tab connects to the remote controller/aircraft.

Will post a screenshot or even a video of what happens and the about page when i get home.

Here is a video of what happens, this is from a fresh install after clearing cache and deleting all dji folders from the android file system.

Same problem with mine.
My go app 4 interface turns into old version when i connect my aircraft.

My mobile device is Asus Zenfone 2 and running on 5.0 android version.
First i'm using dji go app 3.1.0 but still have the problem.
Uninstall the apps and clear default app launcher, install dji go 4, but still same problem.
I installed dji go app to another mobile device (samsung galaxy note 3) which is never got installed dji go app before but the user interface is still old look.

Come on DJI support, give us some useful tips and informations about this issue.
is this issue come from the firmware or dji go or something else?

I also noticed this with the 4.0.0 version of the DJI Go4 app. The 4.0.1 version fixed this. Thanks.

It (4.0.1) also restored the ability to save and rerun WayPoints missions, which is also good: Thank you.

However, the DJI Go 4 (4.0.1) still fails to present the WayPoints mission options panel(Consistent with route, Consistent with Plan, Free). When flying, it seems to merely default to Consistent With Route.
This seems to be happening with certain Android devices; I don't think it's an issue with iOS devices.
