Below are eBay auctions one vender had in the past week. No doubt these were for preorders intended for the buyers who preordered. But why give them to the buyers when they can double their money. But how is this possible you may ask. Well they sell the preorders under one name. When they come in, they sell them under another name. It's different if you, John Doe, receive your Mavic and then sell it on eBay for more money. But for a vender to do it with preordered stock, it's beyond low.

Do you know for a fact that they are withholding orders from those who have already placed their orders so they could resell at a higher price? They may have had some forethought to order a bunch anticipating a demand for them and are capitalizing on them from those willing to pay these prices. I blame the knuckle heads willing to spend $800 over MSRP to get one 6-8 weeks sooner. If people refused ot pay these kind of markups, there wouldn't be so many opportunists selling them.

There will always be someone with Money that will Pay the higher price to get it sooner. Just like everything else in life. Waiting our side of a night club in the normal line = free admission, Tip the bouncer $20 get right in...

I agree 100%.....just like the ridiculous prices for pro sports venues. If we, the fans, didn't pay the crazy ticket prices, the prices would go down. But if they can fill the seats, they will keep raising the prices.....it's all about supply and demand.

All I have to go on is a thread that was posted a couple days ago. The person who started the thread bought from them, and found their other site selling at inflated prices. He has since canceled his order with them. This is another reason why one should buy from DJI directly.

This practice could be stopped, it would need a directive from dji to stop there goods being sold on these sites, if they are being sold by vendors, just don't supply them, if they carry out this practice.
It's a form of profiteering, honest punters loosing out again..

To stop their goods from being sold on eBay or other sites, would cost a lot of money in lost sales most likely, for both DJI and the venders. If we can find them doing this DJI should be able to find them and take away their dealership.

Yes I agree, and if they made an effort to stop dealers from this practice remove their dealerships, this would automatically discourage others from the same practices..

Simple......DJI should control the price of their products and not allow dealers to mark up or down the prices. Many suppliers do this for just this reason. Second, the supplier can void the manufacturer's warranty if not purchased from an authorized supplier.This would fix it immediately.
