Agreed. I know that with this lens, the depth of field is more shallow, so there are cases where your subject/foreground would be in focus while the background is out of focus, but at some subject distance, everything would be in focus. I'm not sure how to calculate this, but its fairly easy to do this. Just have a setting where the camera automatically focuses to this subject distance which means that everything past this point is also in focus. This is the hyperfocal distance. |
