Hello. My p3s in the go app has a set range of 500 meters but when I go and change it to 1000 meters, it doesn't work. It just puts it back at 500 meters. I can't find anything that would change it to FCC mode if it's in cc mode and I live in America so is there anyone with this problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the AC powered up?  I don't think it will save the settings if it isn't.

Have you taken it out of Beginner mode ....

FCC mode is set by GPS location ..... automatically or you can get software to override it ....

Are you trying to set the maximum height or distance? The height cannot be extended beyond 500 Metres, but the distance can.

aside from beg mode off you have to turn off the limit too. and for vertical it has a 500m ceiling

Go where you change the distance. Underneath you'll see Enable Max Distance. Shut that off, slide it to the left so there is no green showing. Now Max distance(500m) is off and you can go as far as you have connection. I have gone 2400ft.

AC is aircraft. You have to be connected to the Phantom or anything you set doesn't mean anything. As the settings are saved to the Phantom.

The max distance of 500m is set as factory default you can change the distance lower, but not higher than 500m. However like I said in the above post, if you shut off that feature, then it is off and you can go as far as your connection allows. Just shut it off and there is no need to change the number 500m.

Never mind, ac is aircraft. So turn off the limit? Won't that let me go until it looses signal? I just feel a little worried about that as I am also not very inclined to use auto pilot. Is that safe?

Unfortunately 500m is the max distance limit you can set. If you wish to go further you have to turn the distance limit off.
If it flys out of range it will automatically  return to home providing you have that set in the options , which is the default setting.
