These photos were all taken from my driveway, using a Canon T3 Rebel with a 75-200mm lens. We are just off the glide path into the local Air Force Base, and on right-hand traffic, we will have planes flying low overhead.

Being an old Air Force guy, that's music to my ears, even if it does mean I can't fly my Phantom in my neighborhood.

For the case in point, the shot of the F-86 was taken pointing nearly straight up from my driveway, after some formation flying during the Heritage Flight Training weekend a couple of years ago. We had a four-plane diamond formation flying around town, with an F-22 at point, two beautifully restored F-86's at the sides, and an F-16 bringing up the rear. Once the formation split up, all four went over our house on their turn to final approach to land.
