I have been reading up on the regulations regarding traveling on commercial airlines with LiPo batteries. What I have not been able to figure out is if the RC unit also needs to be carried on the plane and not checked in with regular luggage. ?? Thanks -Ken

Most airlines are OK with your Phantom, but require you to carry the whole kit in carry-on luggage. They will not place it in the cargo hold.
