I'm just wondering if you could buy the new P4P shell and install the phantom 4 guts into it to be able to use the rear ultrasonic sensors,
I careless for the side sensors, but the rear sensors would be cool to have...

Hi, you would have to get all the senor/wiring/equipment etc to as the P4 doesn't have those rear sensor components, (or dose the P4P have the sensors/wiring etc built into the shell?....), there probably a bit more involved than just plug and play.

I wonder about the camera? Could one  purchase the P4P camera and plug and play on the P4???

No, there is vastly more circuitry in the body of the aircraft. DJI are not silly, they don't make it so you can buy a camera and get a newer system.

Agree with 2#, for the different design and function, you cannot achieve using the rear ultrasonic sensors by installing the P4P shell on P4.
