will DJI improve D-LOG profile fastly ? I work in place with many light contrasts and after updated firmware on 9 th december, D-LOG profile became totally useless, histogram that it provides is a non sense and highlights are not correctly provided and video can't be correct after in post production. For a professional drone, D-LOG must work, it is important profile to make quality video in many places and to work only with cinelike or non profile are not a way to work to achieve a good job in post production.

Please help clarify your aircraft model firstly.
What is the current firmware version and APP?

Aircraft is Phantom 4 pro
On DJI GO 4 here is parameters
App : 4.0.2
Firmware version is is : 01.01.0203
Remote controller : 01.03.00.00

Here is 2 examples of video with no correction made in same conditions and on same moment, just with 2 different profiles :

1. in D-LOG : https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qlzoh6nexuozvl/dlog.mov?dl=0
2. in Cinelike : https://www.dropbox.com/s/i8oo6sgikmnq0k4/cinelike.mov?dl=0

For these 2 examples, I shot in 4k 60 fps in manual mode, AWB and f/2.8

In D-LOG profile, after editing in Da Vinci Resolve and applied a DLOG lut, colours are just awful and i can't correct it and sky (higlight) is burnt
In Cinelike, it seems next to natural and can correct colours and have correct result

Unfortunately, you are right... it seems if D-Cinelike and None are the only two limited useful profiles.  Not much to be correctly graded in the two mentioned profiles.  D-log working correctly is much needed....

I watched this video after made one hour and half of video outside in D-LOG profile and understood in post production that all my rushes was completely spoiled because of this profile. This guy is right and saw the problem. Hope really that DJI can correct this profile fastly because without it, it seems difficult to make real professional video outside.

indeed. a bigger sensor wont help much when the profile destroys the footage...

Agree and in such case, standard phantom 4 provides better result than this professional model.....

Thanks for fast answer. Wait for news about it as soon as possible. I sold my Phantom 4 and bought Phantom 4 pro for work purpose and with such problem, I just can't work now outside.

I have the Same problem Here when taking Pictures with D-Log Profile.

everyone has this problem and only FW update will fix.  This is one of many bugs DJI is aware of so hopefully we will soon see fixes for them.  donnie
