So was a pretty happy camper when trying to setup the new DJI inspire 1 and unpacking it like a 3 year old.  The fun stops upon loading the new ios app version 1.0 where I had trouble connecting to the inspire 1 aircraft.  remote is solid green, and i can control the camera movement but the app keep on switching between disconnected and no signal, nothing happens even after i tried to remount the camera, restarted few times, reinstalled the app, still the same problem.  

- using iphone 6 on iOS 8.1
- lightning cable connected
- battery fully charged
- powered on the remote first then power on the aircraft
- remote shows solid green
- app shows disconnected or no signal

Now after losing few more hairs over this, I switched over back to the old app version 0.92 and bingo it got connected and I can see the aircraft system data and the camera.

I'm not sure what's causing this issue but should be a bug in the new iOS app.  Anyone else experience problems like this over new setup?

did you upgrade to iOS 8.1.3?

no actually mine was iOS 8.1.2, will try to update and test out the new app and see if it fix anything.
