Is anyone else having a issue of the aerial view missing in the map? I tried removing and installing the app and everything else. Only can see the road map. And of course I do have it switched to hybrid or "Satellite" only and nothing will load. The old version 3 still loads.

I just downloaded the Here WeGo app and the "satellite" view is not loading. I think Here is down. DJI uses Here and not Google anymore.

I also tried on another phone and the same issue. Anyone else having this problem? Move around since it may be cached and you don't know it is down.

I'm not seeing the issue on my end. Satellite is working fine. What operating system are you running?

Android 7.1.1 on a Google Pixel
Android 5.0.1 on a LG G Pro 2
DJI Go 4.0

Yes, I know they are not "approved" and no I do not have a approved phone to use.  They were working before but now they are not.  Since it is two phones I don't think it is my hardware issue.

I see the map fine on my N6P 7.1.1 and see the map fine, so it must not be down overall. I'm not sure what the issue you're having is, unfortunately.

Did you try moving around to make sure you were not seeing a cached image?

Yeah. I took your advice and did that. Everything came up fine.

Well, it "works" for me on a Note 3 but the satellite images are horrible and don't resolve any detail when zoomed in so it' just a blurry mess.
This is what it shows me:

Zoomed out a bit and I can kind of make out something but this zoomed pretty far out.



This is how far I have to zoom to be able to actually tell what I'm looking at.

Yeah. I took your advice and did that. Everything came up fine.

Can you look over NC? On Facebook one member of a Mavic group said some parts of the map is working. Still not working for me at all.

That is the issue. I can see miles up but not any details like houses and cars when zoomed in.

I believe that the newest version of DJI Go 3 is also using Here now as well. I have not updated 3 so you're right, it's still on Google maps. I'm downloading 4 to my iPad Mini 3 right now, I'll let you know if it comes up.

Just opened up DJI Go 4 on my Tab S2 (Android) and I'm not getting satellite view either. Must have something to do with the android app.

No go on my Moto X Pure either. Just a super grainy zoomed out view, zoom in and it just goes green. Same situation on DJI Go 3.1.0 (Android).

Why in the world would DJI steer away from Google of all things!?  The unbelievable support/manpower Google has is incredible.   I strongly suggest DJi reconsider moving their Go App back to pointing to Google maps, especially with Android being a Google O/S.

Thank you for doing all the checks.  It is starting to look like a Android issue.  The Here WeGo app is not loading for me also.  Does not look like a DJI app issue but a Here issue.  Android must use a different server or something.

I too am having problems with the Here WeGo showing satellite maps on both my Note 4 and my Note 7 (Yes, I'm one of those people). PLEASE DJI, this NEEDS to be fixed asap. Just pay Google, as they have the best updated maps.

I think the reason for the delay for the new Android DJI Go app is because they are doing extensive testing to make sure it crashes.  After they confirm it will crash it will be released.

Same issue with the map view ... this is really crap DJI .......

Same here.  Just got the thing so i have never seen the map work. Ever since I started it up the maps are very blurry zoomed in!  Please fix!!!

I had VERY mixed results,somethimes only blur, sometimes quite precise, one time i SWEAR i even had google maps (although that sounds mad to me as well).
Using DJI GO 4 on Android on S7 Edge Android 6 and Note 3 on Android 5.
I cant make heads or tail of when it works in which precision.

They need to give that $$$ to google, HEY the Mavic and its remote are running Android 4.4 so why not also buy the maps from Google :-)

Anyone from DJI want to chime in on this issue?  Officially recognize it or anything?  Being you are a big client of Hear perhaps if you contact them about it they can fix it.

Well I just received the DJI Go 4 4.0.1 update on Android and satellite is STILL broken! C'mon DJI. Really? How hard is it to fix the maps? Kinda NEEDED to FLY! {:4_154:}
I'd like to add that the separate HERE WeGo app for Android doesn't work either! I've tried on two completely different approved devices and neither of these apps show satellite maps. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!

Everyone contact Hear.  I don't think we can count on DJI to address this issue.

Contacted and filed problems. Better to create an account with them too so you can track progress.

Same problem for me on 2 different devices. Nexus 4 running 5.1.1 & on my Sony Z3 tablet compact also running Android 5. If I switch to the Litchi app on either device I am getting proper satellite view to fully zoomed in. Only getting road maps and a greenish blur on both hybrid & full satellite view on the Go 4 app.
Just an update - my testing has been done at home, inside and using wifi and we have a 72Mbps fibre connection. On map only it is pinpointing my location pretty much spot on.
