is there a way to work with p4p h.265 files in davicni? via conversion? if so, convert to what?

from what i read online it seems to be possible to convert the files to DNxHD and then use them in davinci. i have downloaded 2 converter trials. both limit the outpub of the DNxHD file to 1080p. does this limitiation come with the filetype?

Ere you using Resolve Studio 12.5 or Resolve the free version?
It seams to me that the HEVC H.265 is only working in the paid version of Resolve (Studio), not the free version.

fyi, Resolve Studio 12.5,  price has just dropped from 950.00 to 299.00  B&H.  This happened yesterday.  

Yes I downloaded it asap in the same minute when it were published and i am running it now and love it. It is still in beta state so there might be some bugs thought i have not seen any yet.

me too!  I was using the free version, I bought 12.5 for 299.00,  then  downloaded the 14 Beta,  loving it!
