I know it's a bright screen (mine arrives tomorrow), but I would still like to have a hood, has anyone bought one yet for the Plus built in screen? Will hoods made for the iPhone Plus models work? Thanks!

Thanks Cetacean! Looking at it, it does not look like it will fit on the plus controller with screen as the screen is not removable. I just found this with straps on the sides...

Here in the bright Arizona sun -- before our little outbreak of winter rains -- I found the Pro+ screen plenty bright.

Since it's now the tomorrow then your machine would arrive I hope you can judge for yourself.

I am a long time user of hoodman products for decades. Can't recommend them enough.

I concur regarding Hoodman.  It is absolutely the best.  They make one that fits the pro+ screen perfectly.  It actually comes in two parts. The first part (shown in the Amazon link above) attaches to the monitor.  If you want even more light isolation you can get another piece that attaches with velcro to the original shade and narrows the field of view.  It has an opening on the bottom that lets you get your hand inside to touch the screen.  I've used the Hoodman extensively with the Inspire and P4 with a full sized iPad.  I now have the P4P+.  The monitor on the + is so much brighter than the iPad I don't think I will need the Hoodman.
