hey guys just tried flying indoors today and found my mavic going from opti mode to a
weak gps mode,i really don't want gps indoors,any ideas?

No other idea then DJI giving us ATTI / OPTI as a choice for the sports switch. weak GPS is dangerous.

There is no manual override to set Atti that you could do on older models. For safety sake I would make sure that you have set your RTH height to below your ceiling height just in case you hit RTH in a moment of panic whilst it did have a GPS lock and your pride and joy would just rise up and try and shave the paint off your ceiling.

You can also set signal loss to just hover..

better yet, have it throttle down if its indoors anyways...
i'm sure you'll be able to run to it and catch it by hand if anything

yes the other issue is that it drifts badly indoors in gps mode,dji should fix this issue so you can choose which mode you actualy need
