is there anyway to tell when the drone was made(phantom 2 not vision) . WITHOUT connecting to a pc. like lables or manufacture dates on the drone? im just curious when dji started installing the new hieght limitation firmware in the phantom 2s. when did they start doing this?

As you can see in the manual, to ensure the safety, flight limitation is enabled by default, while you can change the height limitation through the assistant when connecting your aircraft to PC.

the models out of the factory come with 500 limit.
