My new drone is a P4P. However, the mini map shown on the DJI GO 4 does not show the drone centered. I have to open the mini map to full screen then close it and reopen it and reclose it again, in order to see the drone at the middle of the mini map. This is very annoying! Is there any way to make the drone shown by default in the middle of the mini map, as it was used to be with the previous drones and previous DJI Go apps?

From the map view if you tap on the target icon (2nd icon) and that will open a box with two icons. The first will center the map of your position, and the 2nd will center the map to the aircraft.

You have to downgrade your dji go app to 3.0 and then the red arrow will be centered again. I know it's a pain in the ass but for now that's the only solution.

When you are outside and when the aircraft locks the home point the map will recenter.

Yes you can, but GO 4 is optimized for the latest aircraft.

I use RC + with my phantom 4 pro and on my map does not track the plane in any way on its route. It is very annoying to use the hands on the touch screen to follow the route of the dron, and it is even dangerous to release the joystick to do so. DJi should correct this problem in the GO4 application and its updates since they are the only ones usable with my P4pro + airplane. In the image of the screen capture of GO4 you can see the option to select the display of the airplane or Home (RC) but this option is only momentary and never serves to keep track of the constant flight path of the airplane in the Map.

I have tried what you said Ken, but no, I was waiting outside the drone to lock the home point. After the home point was recorded and locked the mini map continued to show nothing. The aircraft was off the center. The only way to bring it at the center is to tap on the mini map then close it and retap it again. I believe this is a bug of the DJI GO 4 app. Am I wrong?

That's how it's working for me, switch views as you did.
That's how it works, before you said it would only work by tapping the centering icon to home or aircraft.
This is how it works, switch views and then it centers.
I've stated to R&D that you would like it centered from the start and not have to tap camera back to map views.
