To be honest, I didn't hear anything. Maybe I should throw on headphones and then listen. I should record mine. It's pretty noisy since day one. Takes pictures and video fine and the camera tilt control works fine, so I haven't worried about it. If it recorded sound too, then it might get annoying. But the motors would be far more annoying.

The gimbal makes noise. Mine has for 7 months and never caused issues. It just makes noise

This all seemed very normal to me, heard nothing that's not normal.
