Have condensation in camara lens.
When I start the dron it's clean.
When I lift it up to fly ther begins tu have whater condensation in front of the lens.
When landing it desapears.
Have tried tu store the dron with drying gel,
Even warmed up the lens with warm air.
But when I lift up the drone
It comes again.
13 degrees is not tu could.
Maybe this has also to do with the corner focus problems or even de coloured spots in the middle,
Who some people have some problems with. Me too.
Any suggestions?
Looks like the inside of the camara is closed and there is no way to dry it.
Too much ambient humidity when assembled?
In the video you can see how it disappears after landing, 1 min.
And when I go back in the air it returns.
And can't film with this
Even flying 15 min,
So the dron gets ambient temperature
Nothing changes.
The lens go clear
1 min after landing,
And the condensation comes back when I get the drone in the air.

I used to get this on my phantom 4 where I live. Motorcycle anti fog liquid works a treat, use a cotton bud to apply it!. No more condensation.

However if inside the lens different story :-)

Yes, it's inside.
That's the problem.
The strange thing that it only appears when I teak off.
Looks like When flying the Camara warms up and vaporise the humidity
Which condens inside on the colder front glass.

Put it in some rice or other desiccant for a little while.

Thanks,
Tried rice and desiccant over night,
But didn't work.
Today I had it all day in the sun,
And it's a little bit better now.
But still returns  when I teak off.
Will try to give him some more sunbath (lens not pointing to de sunn)
And hope it will help.

Thanks,
Tried rice and desiccant over night,
But didn't work.

After the 2. Day drying the camara in the sun,
Now y don't have more condensation inside the camara.
And all is in focus another time.
There are other treads with focus problems,
Which was my case,
And in my case this was the problem.
Hope it help to other people..
You need to look at the Lens after teak off.
Becaus before there is no condensation.

When the camera is working, the temperature will increase.  Due to the temperature change, it might cause the condensation.
Could you please provide some video of the focus issue? Is the firmware up to update?

thought it was good after drying the camara in the sun,but no way to dry it.and the problem is not when the camara is working.
see the video in first post.
the video begins after landing,
and you can see the condensation disapeering.
dron and camara stil working.
after 1 min,
and with no condensation
i teak off
and the condensation returns.

so it looks like the camara warms up more when flying.
or the fresch air from the propellers make the themperatur differenc.

I solved it having the camara 3 days in the sun.
Or more.
The sun shouldn't go direct to the lens.
Also put the mavic box in the sun,
This is made of cartoon and takes a lot of humidity.
Now storing the dron in the box with a sock full of rice.
And since then no more problem.
But it's very hard to teak out the excess of humidity
From the camara.
Hope this helps.

Hi so you are having the same issue as what I am facing and I am coming from a warm country Singapore. I agree and of the same opinion that there is condensation trapped and when the drone warm up it starts forming on the back of the lens glass surface.

Thanks for the input. So far it seems to be gone. Yesterday I took it out on a sunny dry day and no issues. DJI shop recommended to send it in if the issue is still there. I will give some time.

Disappointing that you need to carry around a bag of rice. Don't think that will fit in the Mavic bag that comes with the fly more combo

Hello

I have the same problem with my mavic pro : no mist in the start of flight but mist came atfer takeof. Mist stayed during all flight and disappered after few minutes after landing.
This problem occurs randomly : I can't anticipate. I'm flying on hot and moisty weather (rainforest) but I never flight when rain falls.

I hope I'll find a workaround.

I've had the same issue. Condensation build up while doing the firmware update in my room temperature lounge. Have flown it twice on bright sunny days in the less than two months I've owned it and have had to land it both times do to the condensation build up on the lens. Finally sent it in to DJI for repair and they said there was condensation in the body of the drone -- they consider it water damage and not under warranty so now they are wanting to charge me 800 EUR to fix it even though I received it straight out of the box in that condition. They said they can't help me cause they can't verify that I didn't cause it. Who has 800 EUR to repair an 1100 drone 2 months after purchase when its been flown in the sun. Now I question whether it's even a reliable product?? Do I fix it and if I did who's to say it wouldn't happen again and I've payed double the price for a lemon all along. I'm just sick about the whole thing. Total buyers remorse. So disheartening.

sorry for my late replay.
wasn't here for a long time.
sorry that  you payed another drone.
whasnt necessary.
they always say to retune it,
an do nothing.
if the camera is en humid ambient,
this goes into the camera.
and when you take off,
the camera goes very hot,
and the humidity condens on the could front glass inside.
flying some minutes it will go away,
when the glass have the same  temperature.
but in every new flight it will come back.
so you need to dry it
some days in the sun,
and after,
always store it with drying gel.
for me it worked.

I'm on my 3rd mavic pro.  2 fell in the water.  Don't ask.  two of the 3 had this problem.  When i got on the chat with DJI support they tried to say I was sweaty and that's what caused it.  Seriously?    My Mavic is pretty much useless.
