got my mavic last night all I can say is WOW this thing is amazing.It had the latest firmware installed and was ready to fly right out of the box.Only thing I don't like is the here map it doesn't work worth a crap.

Yep, mine only needed the compass.  Be sure to plug the Mavic AND the R/C into DJI Assistant 2 to BE SURE that the latest firmware is installed.  Don't rely on DJI GO 4 to tell you.  My P4P+ is the same.  Also, it didn't need ANYTHING calibrated (the P4P+).

And yes, HERE is a freakin JOKE.  Definitely cheapens the experience and lessens the usability of ALL of DJI's drones.

I have got about 15 flights on it and it has been rock solid and rth works flawless.I still haven't calibrated anything and the only thing I had to do was tilt the camera in the app.Im not a camera person so im gonna have to work on that and what program is people using to downgrade the 4k video my pc doesn't play them good.P.S I also have been keeping my phone in airplane mode.
