The rain started today during flight practice, was ok at first with just light spitting but then had to take shelter under a tree with the inspire without any probs until it passed.
Im thinking about when it comes to offering it with a service what weather restrictions are likley.

Even if it does survive notable rain its pointless given the lense would get droplets on it and render images very poor.

Does anyone know its capabilities in wet weather and general restistance to water related issues?

The electronics inside the inspire can be damaged, the motors don't like water and the camera is not encapsuled at all.
My advice is, don't fly when it's raining or in the mist/clouds.

I would have to Agree Michael.... Why even risk flying!! Water drops will get all over the lens cover and you won't see anything worth looking at. But some people have Disposable money!!!!

As I thought, although a professional I know says his s900 and s1000 can cope with light rain.

Im not so sure tbh, and why risk it!

Flew in light snow several times but would stay away from rain!
