The manual says that 64gb is the maximum size for the Mavic. Has anyone tried a larger card yet? 128gb or larger to see if it works?

I have a 128 in my phone could try. The 64 sandisk extreme pro is u3 and funnels work on USB 3 fine. I don't see why it can't . Probably have to see how it's formatted and match filesystem, keep the cluster size, then you could probably use more than 64gb. Maybe even all of it.

I've read people saying they do work, but if you experience any issues with it then it's your fault for going above the listed size. Just depends if you want to take that potential chance of losing footage.

Their is 2 reviews on amazon with the sandisk extreem U1 (3) 128GB card that says it works.
I tired a 64 today with the eXFat formating. everything I know about the UHS speed class, the new V30 class and this file format tell me it should work.

Slightly related question, I've been trying to find a nice table/grid that shows various size cards (from say 8GB to 64GB) with roughly how many minutes you can record in each mode (from 1080P/30 to 4K, etc).  Anyone have any idea if such a thing exists?

I use 32gb as thats enough for the 27 min flight time and change the card the same time as the battery so If I had a disaster I stll have my previous flight Video and 2 32gb is cheaper than 64gb

Price keeps getting lower on higher capacity cards.  I picked up a Sandisk Ultra Plus 64g at Costco for $17 yesterday.

Good point, the specs on box show HD, but not at 4K specs.  I have a Lexan 32g in it now that shows 4k specs.

I buy mine from Costco in the UK but I get 32gb class 3 £12 in uk so probably about the same in $ now

I have been using Lexar 128G UHS-II and 256G UHS-I with no issues.  I use these higher capacity and faster speed cards so I can have redundant footage in multiple cards when I travel. The faster speed on UHS-II isn't going to work on the Mavic but it speeds things up when I work on my laptop.

Overall, I would recommend you use a smaller card and not worry about maxing out your card capacity. Even with 16G it will be hard to use up all the available space shooting 4k on a single battery. You will almost always be battery limited.
