DJI - OK so I went and checked out the "release notes". Gotta tell you right now that "Fix bugs" (http://spark6.d.pr/hHIc) isn't gonna cut it guys. Please - pretty please spend a few minutes writing up some release notes or me and guys like dbeck.promobox will be left wondering what exactly was addressed.

Lol Well I charged them up and now I'm running them down to about 12% just to make sure they are good batteries. Don't wanna put a 3k a/c in the air with an untested battery

I figured that's what you were doing, just making sure.  When you're discharging batteries, how are you discharging them?

Where in the manual is it written about this break in time or cycling of the batteries?  With these expensive batteries, I would thing it would be there someplace or did I just miss it or is it all BS.

My ios App seems to have updated itself without even asking if I wanted the update.  I thought there was a requirement by the CAA in UK to review any updates before installing.  This would suggest updates are going to be installed regardless, or do I need to set some criteria some where to prevent automatic updating.

I use Lipo batteries in another unrelated application, and have found that with proper maintenance and cycling you can not only increase the usage but the life of the battery as well. I have learned after years of building and working with battery power equipment, the manufactures tend to down play the importance of scheduled battery maintenance. Experience has taught me different. And when working with batteries of any kind you have to except the fact THEY WILL FAIL, I have had $10,000.00 Lipo battery packs fail the second time they were used, not very often thankfully, but the best batteries can fail.
