When testing range (CE, not FCC) i was trying out 10 MHz bandwidth today with much better success.
(3000m@50m vs 1500m@50m 2 days before with 20 MHz, exactly same flight, i  follow a road at set Altitude, some groups of trees in between).
As i know that humidity and other weather conditions play a major role i  will have to verify that when i have enough time to make the two  flights directly after each other so that is yet unconfirmed.
Although one expects more range with smaller bandwidth this seems a bit drastic.

But the real reason i post this: On the way back the Mavic reconnected  quickly but reception was much worse then before. I guess the Antennae  are in the back, so the Copter was blocking, could this be, did anyone  else observe this ?

AND i tried to cancel RTH several times, always "greeted" with "Failed to cancel RTH" (or alike).
It finally worked at 1500m@50m!
Anyone knows why ? Failed because of bad signal ? Any other parameter i do not know ?

You still had connection to the aircraft when you attempted to cancel RTH?
I will test later to see if I can cancel from a far distance.

Hello Ken !
I shortly lost connection (was maxing out range) and had reconnection with live stream (stuttering but there) within 20 seconds all the way home.
Nevertheless it failed to cancel RTH (using tap on the red circle with white cross and it told me about the failure with a small alert.

When the livestream was completely fluid again cancel worked and i took over.

BTW. can you confirm the "Antennae in the back" assumption ?

The aft ones i assume ?!

I am nagging as this would make me fly backwards when returning instead of turning and going home.
OR after a conection break i could turn 180 dgrees and see if things go better to continue flying.
Of course i can try and reports, but i forgot in that above mentioned flight and i only have small breaks between rain pours here ATM.

I'm verified they are in the front so it can establish signal easier when it's in RTH mode heading back.

Its funny thats what i assumed (and other UAV's do) when i was hit by Reality :-)
