So I was just flying my Mavic at night. Got up to 400 feet for a couple mins. Deciced to come home. So got back down to 100 feet. Hit the retun home button. Now I launched this from my driveway. It was trying to land 40 feet away in the road. Anyone know why it would be doing this??

If you are too close to the takeoff point return to home does not work. It just asks if you want to land.

Interesting. Did not know this. Ya, I did not go far out from the home point. Anyone else? Or is this for sure correct?

Strongly suggest you read the manual. It covers this and a lot of other important things. If you are within 65 feet of the home point RTH it will simply land right where it is.

Please refer to the manual.Aircraft will decends automatically if it's within 16 feet(5m) of the home point.
