I'm trying to build a cable cam for my ronin m and plan to put an rc motor on it. Since the up and down movement on the left joystick on the controller is not assigned to anything, i was wondering if that can somehow be programmed to drive the motor forwards and backwards?

Just to clarify, are you planning on using the stock Ronin M RC or a 3rd party one?

Preferably the stock controller

I don't believe it's going to be possible. You would most likely need to use a 3rd party RC via the SBus receiver and use a RC with more channels to set and set the cable cam controls there.
