Having my Inspire 1 since yesterday, I have been playing around with the pilot app quite a lot, when my 3 batteries were empty in the evening. End I noticed that even after a first connection with the drone, the sim can not be initialised without it. I would understand that it need a first start with it, but then, when the owner has been identified, we should be able to use it unrestricted, no?

Any chance that one of you have find a way to do it?

The simulator uses the on board flight controller of the inspire 1 to accurately "simulate" flying as possible. So there is no way to make it work without the inspire 1 being turned on.

Did some tests a while ago so see how long batteries last during simulation.
