Purchased a new RC. P opti mode is good as is the A mode but when I click to F mode it goes into P opti again. This means no intelligent flight modes. Help please!

What firmware/software are you using, have a look at 'About' which is down at the bottom of 'General Settings' menu ?
Also are you indoors when checking this ?

Thank you very much for your responses. I cleared my sd card and put the latest .bin file on it and I have the flight mode back! Wooton! Thanks again!

Hi eliot may
It might be a good idea for you to become a bit more familiar with firmware upgrades but what many will tell you is that if your Phantom is doing well don't mess with the firmware.
I like to refer to the tutorial section of this forum, you can learn so much there.
The .BIN file in this case is the Phantom all in one firmware update.
Here is a link to that section in the tutorials.

Check here for tons of great stuff

I hope this at least gives you a place to learn, also the manual is extremely helpful.
Just imagine the learning curve a Plumber (Me) may encounter!
Thank goodness for all the great folks here!
