Bottom line...It should be EXPECTED that a wireless connection between 2 electronic devices has the potential to fail at any given time.  That doesn't mean I think that it was the OP's fault or that he is not entitled to a repair/replacement.  Glad to see DJI has agreed to repair his drone.

Hey Mindy. DJI support is giving me trouble and they are saying that they cannot fix this under warranty, even though you guys found the issue. Can you talk to them because I don't think they believe me.

This sucks. DJI dont know what warranty is. Instead they have invented the care refresh which you have to pay for. Really clever.
