Greetings all

I am flying a Mavic Pro using the DJI Go 4 App, and as a beginner I am struggling to work out how to enter waypoints.

Does anybody have a quick guide for me to look at please?

I can not use way points do to the useless maps.

Hello, please make sure you are in P mode. Please refer to the screenshots.

should be noted that it can't be done before flight.  You can only capture them while flying for later use.

Thank you very much, makes a lot more sense now.  Going to go and fly a few waypoints now.

I have been reading up on Litchi, but I am not certain if it is a wise option?  I see some people are for it and some are against it.

I do like the option that I can add waypoints and then uplaod them, the DJI Go 4 means I have to first fly the route adding the waypoints and this takes time and diminishes battery.

What are your thoughts on using Litchi?

Litchi is very good.  Some very clever modes and easy to use.  Although I can't figure out how to set manual focus.  

Also, it doesn't get over excited about high wind velocity like the DJI Go 4 app.

Litchi is awesome for waypoint missions and panoramas etc ... i still mainly use DJI GO for most of my flying but i have ran a couple of missions and panoramas from Litchi.

If you look at the video i posted ... the same fella does a few tutorials, some he uses Litchi which are good too.

If you look at the video i posted ... the same fella does a few tutorials, some he uses Litchi which are good too.

If you want advanced waypoint you can use dji GS PRO, this app is currently just have iPad version

If you want the basic you can go to the dji go 4 app, when you flying it, on the left, there is a controller button

They dont clash per se but you have to make sure both dont run at the same time ... and depending on android version,  you have to clear app defaults, then set one to default for the controller to use ... but its all easy enough.

DJI has just released a powerful Ground Station Pro app which brings back the ability to set way points before flight.

You need to connect an iPad to your Mavic Pro remote controller in order to use this app.

Thank you, i have downloaded the new app but have not had a chance to try it out as yet.
