I have just mounted my newly acquired A2 onto my s900 and have bound it to my Futabe T14SG via the Futaba receiver/S-Bus.

All seems to be working OK. That is to say that I have managed to map the various channels through the A2 Assistant. However just refering to the Controller Linking Status LED (LED upper right hand side on the actual controller) I notice I have a solid RED indicated.

Is this normal when using a receiver other than the A2's on board DR16 Rx?

If you're not using the A2's built in DR16, then the solid red link LED is fine.
