Hi everyone, I just recieved my Phantom standard for xmas and I'm excited and a little nervous to take it off the ground. I've watching a lot of videos and reading the manual I've charged everything and also been playing with the simulator, is there anything else I should know before I take my maden voyage?
Take your time on your first flight.
Just lift it in the air and move around slowly, do not try to fly around all over the place.
Many times people crash due to thinking they can fly like a professional.
Next is to get used to the interface screens and what they do as well as knowing what the two toggle switches do (S1 & S2).
Under normal flight, both the S1 and S2 switches should be in the up position. The image in post #7 in not for the P3S, that's for a P2. They look the same but thoses two switches have different uses.

The main thing you want to remember is to keep calm at all times. If you experience some drift, you want to keep your composure and reel it in, sort of speak.
