After storming all day, the sky unexpectedly opened up late in the  evening for about 45mins… I was lucky to catch one of the last sunsets  of 2016. Here's what it looked like 350ft above Kula, Maui

Thanks lignow! I was lucky to get this footage; within 15mins of bringing the Mavic back, rain clouds engulfed the sky.

Nice video.  Hope to get some good footage on the Big Island in March.

Mavic arrived  a week ago.  My trip to Kona is first  2 weeks of March. I'll be sure to post my footage.

I'm headed to Maui for two weeks at the end of the month, I was totally hoping to get some haleakala footage. Very nicely done btw.

Awesome! I hope you have a great time here in Maui. The summit has been pretty clear the past few days but there is a thick blanket of vog (from the volcano)  over the island.... On the bright side makes for some great sunsets.
