We had a chance to shoot some Mavic footage in New Zealand / South Island. I think NZ has some of the most picturesque places on earth.

FCPX 10.3 ... selected part of the clip is speeded up (in my case 12000%)

Nice one! Where abouts were you on the South Island? Im in Queenstown at the end of our 2 week holiday. Didn't get as much footage as i would have liked due to weather.

Reminds me of my trip to the north and south islands a few years back, and makes me wish even more that I could have had a Mavic with me at the time. I noticed some slight shaking in some of the  shots where the aircraft was very still. Perhaps that can be addressed in software as you edit the video. I thought the colors and lighting were good, not over the top. Very natural. I also liked that each scene duration was not too long.

Really really well done!  I'm not posting my dreck any more :-)

Unfortunately, something happened to my Mavic gimbal (need to send it for repairs) and I didn't get any footage from Tekapo

the exit title was spectacular.  did you generate the effect in the editor?  if so, what was the process?

I have a question for the OP. How is it flying your drone in NZ? Especially the southern part. I plan a vacation soon and I want to take my MPP with me, but I have read on different forums that the rules regarding drones in NZ are quite drastic. Do you need some kind of permit ? I plan to take footage of the scenery, outside of cities. Most of it like the video posted..
Please let me know on this matter, or if there are others with experience.
